Forsaken Trails by Bonnie R. Paulson

Emotionally this is almost as hard to read as everything with Nate and Emma. At the very beginning I lost all the warmth and respect that I had for Jareth and Kyle for the way they treated Ruby when she showed up on their doorstep. I don't think I could forgive them. Ruby and Sloan stole my heart, they are both so wounded and vulnerable yet strong. It's a beautiful story of love and angst.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
