Bound To A Spy by Sharon Cullen

This is dramatic romance that is full of intrigue and mystery. Will is confident, amusing and stubborn. Rose is brave, naive, determined and vulnerable. When they overhear a plot to kill the king, Rose and Will separately investigate the people involved. But Rose is being hunted by them, and Will is trying to keep her safe. They are attracted to each other but Will discourages a relationship knowing that his job doesn't allow for marriage and children. They become friends and allies, then give in to the attraction. I love both of these characters and the storyline. I look forward to the next book in this series.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
