This is a captivating story of love, revenge, secrets and blackmail. Camden will stop at nothing to get revenge, that makes him stubborn and cruel. But he is also a gentleman, and he loves deeply. Eleanor is looking for love, it makes her seem very cold. But she actually has a soft heart and she fiercely protects anyone she considers family. As their relationship develops, they start to see inside of each other. Sometimes it's romantic, sometimes not, but it's engrossing and dramatic and suspenseful. It should be added to your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special.
