Kingslayer's Daughter by Anna Markland

This is romantic, intriguing and heartwarming. Munro is impulsive, determined and caring. Sarah is untrusting, skeptical and caring. They meet on a stage and Munro is immediately captivated by her, so much so that he changes his plans so that he can follow Sarah home. But Sarah isn't interested in having anything to do with another man now that she has her freedom from her brutish husband. The secret of her birth is also a deterrent, she doesn't believe that anyone would want to be connected to her. Munro won't be discouraged though, he's in love with her and wants to marry her. The storyline is dramatic and full of surprises and twists. Once I started reading it I had a hard time putting it down. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
