A December With A Duke by Collette Cameron

This is sweet and romantic. Griffin is determined, caring, charming and sweet. Everleigh is vulnerable, kind, gentle and untrusting. Everleigh survived a very abusive marriage and is just facing society after 2 years, but is still wary of and nervous in large crowds. After she enters the drawing room, she hears a child crying and turns to see who it is. Griffin, the child's father, watches intently as the woman who is known as the ice queen picks up his crying daughter, and is caught off guard when his heart hitches. He becomes determined to win over the fascinating woman his daughter called an angel. But Everleigh isn't interested, she is not willing to trust another man with her safety and happiness. Griffin is gentle and charming with her though, and little Sarah is too precious to ignore. This is a beautiful story with likable and engaging characters.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
