My Lady Governess by Elise Clarke

This is brilliant. It's romantic, funny and captivating. Tam is a cold, pompous, prideful and condescending man, but he's extremely likable. He is honorable and chivalrous, which isn't always a good thing. As a whole, he comes off as adorable. Marina is strong, stubborn, snarky and spunky. He's no match for her wits. The storyline is amusing, the characters are entertaining and the end is absolutely fantastic. Put this one at the top of your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
