Hunter by Cordelia Blanc

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I have mixed feelings about this book. The story itself is a very interesting one and I liked the characters, but some of the writing isn't great and some incidents are a little out of proportion. And I would love to know more about what happens at the end. It's a very good read unless you're super critical.

You For Christmas by Madeline Ash

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This takes a look at rape and what the ramifications are. It's also a cute love story between two people who were teenagers that thought that they barely knew each other. It was very interesting and thought provoking and I enjoyed reading it.

Slammed by Teagan Kade

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a very interesting story about life. The lives of the characters involved and the twists and turns that shaped thwm into who they are. It's not as boring as I'm making it sound, it's just a really good look at life. I really liked it, the story, the characters and the pace.

One Rogue At A Time by Jade Lee

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This starts off a bit slow, but it picks up. The characters are a little crazy I think. Maybelle is both naive and knowledgeable. Bram is both a bastard (literally and figuratively) and a caring gentleman. There are times when you laugh, cry, get mad and just shake your head. All of the peripheral characters are very interesting and for once there is no outside interference between the two lovers, they only have themselves to blame. I did enjoy reading this and was very satisfied with the ending.

The Best For Last by Maria Geraci

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was a good story, but I didn't like the fact that EVERYBODY decided to turn on Stephen and try to push him out of Kitty life when there was nothing wrong with the relationship and both were happy. I liked Stephen and Kitty, I liked the way their relationship evolved in the end, just not how it got started evolving. All in all it was a good story that I did enjoy reading.

Sleeping Beau by Lila DiPasqua

Then 5 years later they meet again, and the sparks ignite. Can Adrien overcome his past so that he can have a future? Can he forgive Catherine for using him, then disappearing? There are a couple of new twists to this old tale, which makes for entertaining, enjoyable reading. There is love, hate, tenderness and laughter that keeps you turning the pages.

What Happens Under The Mistletoe by Sabrina Jeffries Karen Hawkins Candance Camp and Meredith Duran

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. "The Heiress and the Hothead” - Sabrina Jeffries This is a short, action packed, fun read that I really enjoyed. It is well written and has a great storyline that makes you want more. “Twelve Kisses to Midnight” - Karen Hawkins This is a sweet and funny and clean second chance story. The mix of Scottish and English used by Marcus is a stuttering point, but it doesn't detract from the story, and it is a very good story. “By Any Other Name” - Candace Camp This is one of those stories that you really wish was longer. It is a funny, attention grabbing story with great characters that keeps you turning the pages to see what happens next. “Sweetest Regret” - Meredith Duran This is a second chance romance with a twisted reason for the original split, and the reunion. It has likeable characters and a good storyline that I enjoyed reading.

Foster by Jessica Ashe

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. A one night stand between two people who, unbeknownst to them, will soon be stepsiblings, and can't forget each other, makes for an amusing story. Add some hot sex, and a jerk, and things get really interesting. This was an enjoyable read with great characters.

One Night Only by Ellen March

One More Sunset by Jolyce Barnett

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. One More Sunset blends contemporary romance with a little bit of magic and some suspense to make one great story. Wanted by Maya Banks

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Then he gets assigned to take Grace and her family back to their home. They spend a lot of time getting to know each other, but it has to be done in secret because Grace is an Earls daughter, while he is a farmer. She was sent to New York for Christmas to be introduced to society by her brother-in-laws family. Including Reggie, her brother-in-laws brother, who she has had a crush on since she was 12. Reggie gets a telegram that Annies pregnant sister is in trouble, and when Annie learns about it she takes off to go home. When Reggie realizes where she went he follows her. On the way to Annies, they have to celebrate Christmas on a train. But Reggie makes it a very special Christmas. I really liked the characters and story and enjoyed reading it.

Jax by Vivian Lux

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Jax is a likable tough guy, Lily is a sweet girl and the story is good. It's not intense, it's not page turner, but I couldn't wait to see what catastrophe would happen next. It's a bit snarky, a bit sad, a bit funny, and I really enjoyed it.

Misteltoe and Mochas by Patricia Eddy

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book of Patricia Eddys that I've read and I love her writing. This story is great, as are the characters, Mac and Devan, and I highly recommend it. Broken Mac meets sweet Devan and is drawn to her. After being seriously wounded, and shutting himself away for a year, he can't help himself. As much as he fights his attraction, he feels the need to protect her, and when her shop is vandalized and she is almost killed, he can't tear himself away from her. This is a feel-good story with a very HEA.

Unplugged by Sienna Valentine

I received an ARC ofvthis book for free in exchange for an honest review. Noah is the broken lead singer of band. Laurel is a reporter out to get the story on why Noah killed a man during a concert. It turns out that Noah is nothing like what Laurel expected. Instead of a rowdy, angry man, she finds a broken, sad man. While trying to get the real deal scoop from him, she falls for him. And him for her. What happens when he finds out she's a reporter? Can he forgive the lie? There's a lot of hot sex between the two, but there's also a lot of romance that makes this a great feel-good read.

Amy does not have the Christmas spirit this year, her husband left her for another woman and her children have made other plans for Christmas. To make matters worse Bella, her former best friend, and current tv chef extraordinaire, has stolen the recipes that Amy has sent her over the years and claimed them as her own mothers recipes from Christmases past. Merry Misteltoe by Emma Davies

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a very sweet book about Freya, a woman on the verge of losing everything, Amos her mysterious hired hand and Sam, the man Freya has always loved. While Freya sorts through her life getting ready to let go of the only life she's ever known, Amos helps Sam realize that he and Freya can resolve their past differences and have a future together. It's a little slow at times, and seems to skip quite a few conversations, I enjoyed reading it.

A Midnight Dance by Lila Dipasque

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Sabine fell in live with Jules the first time she saw him at her fathers play. Even knowing she could never marry an Aristo, she dreamed of being his. Her chance came years later when she tried to steal a silver treasure from him by pretending to sell her body to him for the night, while her cousins gave his men tainted wine. The men never got the wine, but Jules got Sabine. This is a new twist on Cinderella, with intrigue and comedy. I'm hoping there is a story for Luc next.

But Trace doesn't take no for an answer and she finally gives in. What starts as just a fling for him soon turns to more, but can he trust her not to break his and Ryders hearts? Full of drama, laughs and gushy moments, the story sucks you in and makes you want to keep reading.

Hitched by Shauna Allen

Easton's Everything by Amy Gregory

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a good story with poor writing. The conversations between people are often disjointed and don't make a lot of sense. But I liked the characters and the way the story evolved. It's good enough that I will give another of her books a shot.

Resurrection River by Lindsay Cross

With some tears and anger and twists, he just might.

Blindsided by Jami Davenport

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved watching Tanner fall hopelessly in love with Emma, he really is a sweetheart on the inside, despite his attempts to make everyone believe otherwise. And Emma is a sweet girl who has been in love with Tanner for years. It a tearjerker at some points, heartbreakingly so at times, but I enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading more of Jamis books.

Roped In by L.P. Dover

They get thrown together when Hadleys life is threatened and she is sent to Blakes ranch to hide out. Blake thinks she's a Hollywood snob, Hadley thinks he's a major jerk. They soon find out that that is not the case and they end up falling for each other. But that isn't the only twist to the story, add in a father who thinks the best thing for Hadley is to be "dead", and the Irish mafia. This is a wonderful story with interesting, charming and funny characters and once I picked it up I didn't want to put it down.

It turns out that the sister he thought was dead isn't, so he stays in Scotland with her. Cadha will nit give him up and their future up so easily so she hires an old woman and her ship to take her to him. Along the way she discovers that the old woman is really a man named Valc. They get waylaid by a pirate and both end up in the sea. When Valc wakes up on a beach, Cadha is nowhere to be found. He finds help at a monetary and eventually finds her. They have realized that they love each other, but Valc insists that Cadha belongs with her intended, Maas, even though she wants to be with Valc. Becoming Daddy's Girl by Normandie Alleman

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I didn't care for this book, it read very immature and was poorly written. I never got interested in the characters and nothing is resolved at the end. If all you care about is a little hot sex, it's okay for that.

Fugitive Bride by Adrianne Wood

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. He's a little gullible, she's a little feisty. When Annabelle runs away from an unwanted marriage her father hires the Pinkertons to find her and bring her back. When they catch up to her, she convinces them to let her go to San Francisco before she goes home. They send Kitt to escort her. When it's time for her to go home, Kitt again has to escort her, but to her grandfather. Things don't go as planned because Annabelle doesn't trust her grandfather not to turn her over to her crazy ex-fiancé, so she keeps running away from Kitt, when she's not thinking about kissing him. I love how they interact with each other, there's no real animosity, but there is some fun. This is a fun romantic adventure thriller comedy and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes any of these genres.

The next time they meet be fights his attraction by verbally attacking her for being irresponsible and immature. She ends up being his boarder for the summer. The sparks fly, but she doesn't do "permanent" and he thinks she's too young. The story is sweet, a little sexy and at times very funny. And I really liked all the characters involved. Definitely a worthwhile read.

The Ultimate Threat by James Osbourne

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a very intense look into terrorists and their many victims. It is graphic, not for those who are easily upset, but well written and engaging. The author goes into detail about the everyday lives of the victims and then how the attacks affected them. I really liked this book, despite the dark subject matter, and would recommend it for those who like thrillers.

First Time With A Highlander by Gwyn Cready

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I have to say, the reason I love time travel stories is because they always have at least a few funny lines because the way we speak now is not the way people spoke 200 years ago, and there are many things now that people had not ever thought of back then. It can be highly entertaining, which this book is. The sleeping beauty discussion was great, I could picture it in my mind. The story is about Gerard, who was born in the 20th century and Serafina, who was born in the 17th century. Serafina needs a man to impersonate her former fiancé, who stole her money, so she has a friend make her a potion to get one, Gerard happens to be the one. The two of them, along with a few friends, work to get her money back, but nothing goes right. The funny and folly make the book a must read. I look forward to reading a lot more from Gwyn.

Secrets In Blood by Patricia Eddy

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a well written story with a good plot and lots of action. It started a little weirdly with jumping way into the future a couple of times, but once the story really started it got hard to put down. Nicola and Evangeline originally meet when she is a child and he shows her more kindness than her father ever has, but in helping her he gets caught by her father and spends the next 18 years being tortured, while Evangeline gets experimented on. When Evangeline finds out that he is not dead, as she assumed, she breaks the two of them out of their captivity. The two then go after Evangelines father for making a serum that will kill all vampires. I really enjoyed reading this book, it's a very engaging story with characters you can get into.

Thunder On The Plains by Roseanne Bittner

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is an epic love story that spans years and life events. I loved reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes romance and anyone who likes American history.

Happy Hour by Patrick Brown

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. On Jelly and Dillon’s wedding day Dillon is murdered. Is it related to an incident that happened 10 years before? When he police can identify no suspects the family turns to a friend, security expert Salem Reid. While Reid investigates we see the seedier side of life. It's not for the faint if heart, but it's a well told story with interesting characters and plot.

Dark Before The Rising Sun by Laurie McBain

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Newlyweds Rhea and Dante come back to England so that Dante can go back to his family's home. But Dante is targeted by murderous smugglers who despoiled his family home, while Rhea's father, the powerful Duke of Camareigh, vehemently rejects their marriage. This is the conclusion to the epic journey of Dante and Rhea, and the end is well worth the journey. To make it easier to understand it's better to read these books in order, but they can be read alone. I would recommend this book and this series to those who like some depth to their books. I enjoyed reading Dante and Rheas story to it's conclusion.

Berzerker by Theo Cage

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was a well written, interesting book. It's scary along the lines of Stephen King, because maybe it could happen. Sean and Tracy are trying to get their daughter Ashley to a hospital that has a new therapy for CF. But they encounter a heavy snowstorm and end up in the town of Berzerker. Strange things are going on there, and the people in charge think that Sean is a spy from a rival company. They try to get out if town, while the townspeople try to keep them in. I won't spoil the end, because it's a nail-biter, but I will say that I was kept guessing as to what would happen next. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes Stephen King.

Buffalo Trail by Jeff Guinn

This is an epic story about life in the old west. Quanah, is a Commanche War Chief, who is trying to help his tribe survive. Cash McLendon is a heartbroken man trying to find his way in the harsh conditions of the west, and a way to win the woman he loves. Along the way we meet Bat Masterson and Billy Dixon and other historical figures. The story revolves around a buffalo hunting gang and an alliance of Indian warriors that includes Comanche, Cheyenne, and Kiowa, and is led by Quanah. What follows is a bloody tale about survival. Guinn has a way of telling a story in a way that keeps you turning the page to see what will happen next. I was given a free copy of this in return for an honest review. The problem is that Ross thinks Sara can never forgive him for not protecting Meredith and Sara thinks that she woud be a terrible Duchess because she does not enjoy society, and she thinks a Duke needs a wife who likes to entertain and go to balls. It is a wonderfully written story with characters you can't help but like. I really enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more books by Sharon. The Surrogate Husband by Wynter Daniels

This was a great read. A little romance, a little angst and a little comedy. Lucy needs a husband temporarily, because her mother told her great aunt, who they thought was dying, that she was finally married and settled. No big deal, until Aunt Bev comes to town. Lucy asks Dex, her CPA, if he'd be her husband for a family wedding, which turns into a weekend family reunion, which turns into Aunt Bev moving closer to the family. They need to come clean, but they are afraid for her health. So while they are "playing" husband and wife, they each start to have feelings for the other. But Dex doesn't like risk takers, which Lucy is, and Lucy doesn't like take control kind of guys, which she thinks Dex is. Can they keep pretending for Aunt Bev? Should they? Laugh, cry and find out.

Josette by Kathleen Bittner Roth

Josette ran from her roots and Cameron is running from his future when they meet. There is a very strong connection between the two from the very first moment that they meet. The characters are likeable and the story is so engaging that it was hard to put down once I picked it up. There is never a dull moment and I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author.

In order to figure out who is starting all the fires they have to learn to trust each other. This is a wonderfully written story with very likable characters and good plot. It's sweet and sexy and funny. And a lot of fun to read.

Kate has always resented Lucien, believing that she and Percy should have gotten Camareigh. So she has Rhea sold into slavery. Dante Leighton, is captain of the privateer Sea Dragon and the Marquis of Jacobi. When Rhea escapes from her she finds herself on his ship. Adventure is the highlight of the story. The details make it somewhat hard to get through at times, but the story is a good one.

First of Spring by Kelsey Jordan

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed reading this book even though it started off being confusing because it's the 3rd book of the series, but it didn't take too long to figure it out. The characters were all fully realized and the mythology and society well thought out. Trent is the acting Mikko, or leader of the Order of Rockys, an elite warrior class of Lycans. Aryana is a princess from another pack who is sent to Trent for training. There are plots within plots, and just when you think something will go a certain way, you find out you are wrong. It's intense and very well written with well developed characters.

Blind Trust by Peri Ann

While everybody is trying to kill everybody else, we see Spirit and Kyle start to forge a bond, but life is conspiring against them and they are always at cross purposes. While I liked this book, it seemed to drag on a bit. There are a lot of details, a lot of plot twists and it was very well written.
