Throttle by Shauna Allen

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a great story about can't-trust-anybody single father Trace, and the woman who steals his heart. Trace and his son Ryder have been on their own since Ryders mother abandoned them when Ryder was about a week old. Tori was a waitress at a bar Trace hangs at who disappeared before Trace worked up the nerve to ask her out. But then she shows back up at the bar as a customer and Trace decides that he needs to ask her out before she disappears again. By the time he gets a chance, they discover that she is the counselor at Ryders school, so she thinks that it's inappropriate to date him. But Trace doesn't take no for an answer and she finally gives in. What starts as just a fling for him soon turns to more, but can he trust her not to break his and Ryders hearts? Full of drama, laughs and gushy moments, the story sucks you in and makes you want to keep reading.
