Berzerker by Theo Cage

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This was a well written, interesting book. It's scary along the lines of Stephen King, because maybe it could happen. Sean and Tracy are trying to get their daughter Ashley to a hospital that has a new therapy for CF. But they encounter a heavy snowstorm and end up in the town of Berzerker. Strange things are going on there, and the people in charge think that Sean is a spy from a rival company. They try to get out if town, while the townspeople try to keep them in. I won't spoil the end, because it's a nail-biter, but I will say that I was kept guessing as to what would happen next. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes Stephen King.

Pleasing The Professor by Peter Styles

This is entertaining, steamy and romantic. David is a professor at a Christian college, and an author. Seb is a grad student at the college, and he edits David's books. Seb has been crushing on David for over a year, but didn't say anything  because he was unsure if the 20 year difference in their ages, and the fact that David was stuffy, would matter. Then one day he gets a visit from Alex, along with an invitation to a consort mixer. Seb considers the invitation, then decides that he'll take a chance asking David to date first. After David says no, Seb is determined to go to this party and find a man that will have him. When David shows up at the party, Seb loses it and goes off on him. In the end David is so angry at Seb he agrees to a trial run. But he still fights them being together. A series of events have them both considering the consequences of a relationship. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Fabulously written, engrossing tale about love and intrigue. Evangeline and Hadley are imminently perfect for each other and highly entertaining. Bronwen is one of my favorite authors, her books never disappoint.
