Broken by Kiley Beckett

This is entertaining and suspenseful. Rocco is a cold hearted man, except when it comes to Daniella. With her he is loving, and protective. Daniella is soft but wants to rule her Family, and is determined to make the other mob bosses see her as the Don. Daniella is mad at Rocco for abandoning her 4 years earlier, but the sparks still fly between them. He wants her back, forever, she wants to rule the Family. But forced together on the run it's hard for them to keep their hands off each other. It's an intriguing, exciting storyline, but it drags about half the time, there's too much info that is not necessary.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
