Scandal's Splendor by Collette Cameron

I received a copy of this book from the author. This is romantic, captivating, entertaining and enjoyable. The characters are very engaging and the storyline is interesting. Jacques is chivalrous, sweet and romantic. You have to feel for him, trying to do what he thinks is right instead of following his heart. Seonaid is a special person who deserves her hearts desire. The story is full of love and sadness. It's brilliant and engrossing, a must add to your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
