A Most Scandalous Christmas by Kelly Boyce

I received this book from Reading Deals. What happens when polar opposites attract? A lot of drama and a lot of angst. Watching Miles fighting his feelings for Patience is sort of like watching a dog chase his own tail, funny but sad. The storyline is highly entertaining and engrossing, and the characters are old friends now, well loved and, for the most part, respected. This is a humorous and romantic and heartwarming series that I would add to your TBR list.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
