A Reason To Stay by R.J. Scott

This is intense, dramatic and thrilling, with a side off romance. Viktor is tough, determined, cold and impatient. Aidan is gentle, caring and stubborn. They met in high school, Aidan fell in love, Viktor didn't, he was too focused on joining the military. Years later Viktor is home recovering from an injury and runs into Aidan. They soon start fooling around, but even after Aidan confesses his love, again, Viktor runs back to his SEALs. Things come to a head between them, 2 years after their affair, when they march up a mountainous together to find out what Viktor's nephew saw before he was found injured and unconscious. I was somewhat disappointed in Viktor on that mountain, but he redeemed himself. I enjoyed this story and am looking forward to the other books in the series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
