The Duke of Seduction by Darcy Burke

This is romantic, fun, entertaining and sweet story. Beck is fascinating, talented, sweet, caring and romantic, but he's also tortured by the past. Lavinia is smart, optimistic, bold and determined. They meet when Beck mistakes her for the lady he has an assignation with, but they soon become friends. When the Duke of Seduction targets Lavinia to help her get noticed, she doesn't appreciate it one bit, which spurs Beck into aiding her to avoid her new suitors. And neither realizes that along becoming friends, they've each developed feelings for the other. Beck faces the past at the same he that he comes to terms with what he feels for Lavinia, and has a whirlwind few days. The storyline is brilliant and the characters are likable and sweet. This is a must add for your TBR list, and put it at the top, along with the whole series.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
