Deacon Johns by Ciana Stone

This is suspenseful, intriguing and entertaining. Deacon is stubborn, protective and confident. Mica is bold, brave, determined and caring. They don't really have a relationship through most of the storyline, just a few hit and runs that were intense and dramatic. I liked the premise of the story, but it's not the most exciting book in the series. There's not enough Deacon I'm the storyline to know what he's like, and Mica is a little strange. The supporting characters did add some real twists and fun to the story.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
