Jagged Edge by Jo Raven

This is an intense, dark and gripping story. Jason is a badly damaged, yet caring man. He sacrifices himself to protect the people he cares about, yet thinks that he's not worthy of being loved. Raine is a man with self-esteem and anger issues because of the people who raised him. Raine is confused about his feelings for Jason, and Jason refuses to feel anything. When Raine discovers that Jason is in danger, he's adamant that Jason let him help. The drama that they encounter, and create, draws them together, and the romance and sweetness of these two men will tug at your heart. It's dark with disturbing scenes and implications, so it's not for everyone, but it's a captivating storyline.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Hidden Gems. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
