Trying It All by Christi Barth

This is amusing and entertaining and intense. The opposites attract storyline is immensely funny, which is good because of the characters back stories being so dramatic and heartbreaking. These characters have a special place in my heart, and seeing them overcome the trauma they each suffered and find love intensely satisfying. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. This is my honest opinion of it.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.

In Love With A Hitman by Marci Fawn

This book was gifted to me. The book is not written very well, but the story is interesting. These are some very strange and immature people. Neither Nikolai nor Mila have any strength of character, Dmitry and Anatoly are both crazy. It's more of a drama than a romance.
