Samantha's Secret by Betty Bolte

This is a dramatic and traumatic story with some romance. I have to say that I do not like Trent at all. He is pompous, condescending and unfeeling. I do love Samantha though. She is sweet, strong and brave. The storyline is interesting, it shows a glimpse of all the changes, good and bad, that happened right after the revolutionary war ended. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
