Fighting The Flames by Em Petrova

I was gifted a copy of this book from the author. This is another great story from Em. It's captivating, exciting and entertaining. The storyline is bittersweet, the characters are amusing. Syd and Maddox are like magnets, one minute Maddox is pulling Syd to him, the next he's pushing her away. But growling at the guys when they just looked at her. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
