Falling by Jane Green

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. First off, if you want a HEA, this isn't a book you want to read. This is sad, and it is not a written well story, and at times seems immature. It's told like real time, in third person, but has some past tense scenes as well. At times it seems to drag, and has many references to long past events that are irrelevant. When it came to letting people into Jesses life, the adults acted foolishly. I was pretty bored with it, and wish I hadn't finished it.

This is an amusing, heartwarming and romantic story. Simon is an honorable, charming and vulnerable man. Diana is sweet, caring and vulnerable. Simon believes that he killed his first wife and therefore doesn't deserve to be happy. But he believes in romance, which is why he chooses to be the person to tell Diana that she's being jilted by his best friend. He wants to help her overcome the scandal and when she decides to run from her tyrant father, he takes her. They get to know each other, and like each other, on their journey. It's very entertaining just how they get to know each other, and romantic and sweet. I love the whole series, but Simon and Diana are special. If you haven't added these books to your TBR list, do so. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my honest and voluntary opinion of it.
