I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a cute childrens book that my granddaughter very much enjoyed. It's cute and rhymie like Dr. Suess, and I loved reading it to her.
This is an intense, fascinating and captivating story of love and courage. Adam is a broken and defeated man, but he is also loyal, brave and caring. Denis is a confident, caring and loyal man who is lonely because of his circumstances. He longs for a woman to love who will also love him. Rosamunda is an intelligent, vivacious, curious and mute woman who has been locked up for her entire life. Paulina is a timid, insecure and cranky who has also been locked up for life. As the story begins Adam gets sick and becomes deaf and impotent, so he must concede his role of heir to his younger brother. He is upset by the pitying looks that his family give him that he decides he must leave, journeying to his father's other estates. This is a captivating, suspenseful and romantic story. Sammy is unsure, sweet, charming and engaging. Georgina is determined, loyal and kind. When Sammy sees Georgina for the first time in years, he's very happy, but also afraid that if she finds out that he is the former servant and friend from childhood, she could ruin his life. But she's just happy to find him again. Their friendship becomes a search for his past that is twisted and filled with tragedy. I couldn't put the book down trying to figure out who he really was. It's a brilliant and intriguing, and the characters vary from very sweet and charming, to evil. I highly recommend adding it your TBR list.

Seb has been crushing on David for over a year, but didn't say anything because he was unsure if the 20 year difference in their ages, and the fact that David was stuffy, would matter. Then one day he gets a visit from Alex, along with an invitation to a consort mixer. Seb considers the invitation, then decides that he'll take a chance asking David to date first. After David says no, Seb is determined to go to this party and find a man that will have him. When David shows up at the party, Seb loses it and goes off on him. In the end David is so angry at Seb he agrees to a trial run. But he still fights them being together. A series of events have them both considering the consequences of a relationship. It's a great story that pulls you in a little at a time, right up to the end when Seb gave in too eas
